Another week of the same old same old but I’ve been helping with a siding job so I haven’t had as much time to do the usual. I ventured down to Baltimore on Saturday for Baltimore Beer Week. Visited Key, Oliver, Waverly and Union. There was some kind of walk-a-thon or something going on that was clogging the streets I was using and it jammed up downtown so the remaining breweries will have to wait. Dinosaur BBQ was at Union, had some wings while I was there, they were some of the best BBQ wings I’ve ever had.
I did also visit the North Point Battlefield where the Maryland Militia made a stand against the British army in 1814. Wasn’t expecting much there but some of the battlefield was preserved as a park. That was nice and for pictures check out the Battlefields section.

Sunday took me up to Reading to see some hot ECHL action. The Reading Royals defeated the Wheeling Nailers 2-1 in OT. The game was pretty chippy but no fights broke out. Got a commemorative puck and a magnet schedule out of it. Also visited Oakbrook Brewing for dinner before the game. I’ll be back, good beer and a great pulled pork sandwich.
