Merry Christmas everyone. Not a lot going on this week. Went to Dickinson to see York College pull one out of their butts on Tuesday. They looked bad for 36 minutes of the game and Dickinson blew I think an 11 point lead late and York emerged victorious by 3, That’s good for them. They also are back in the top 25 for the first time in over a decade but they’re playing the #2 team next week so that may not last too long.

York High also won that night, beat Dallastown in 2 OT. I went to the Central game Friday. They lost in 3 OTs and had numerous chances to win the game. They don’t do well in that gym, it’s been a long time since they won there. They’re playing Oxon Hill from Maryland in the McCaskey Holiday Tournament next well, I’ll probably go to that one.

Went up to Hershey to take in the Bears game against Binghamton. Stopped at Boneshire Brew Works to have a pint before. I didn’t think there would be any way to get a spot at Troegs anyway. The Bears won, but then the Devils are not exactly the best team around. Also got a nice pint glass from the Bears as well. Then it was on to the Juniata rugby Festivus party at the Midstate Distillery. Saw a few familiar faces there.

So Christmas is here. Got my shopping all wrapped up on Saturday. I made my cameo appearance at church on Christmas Eve. My niece wanted to sit next to me which was nice. She kept writing on cards that she was going to kill me though what she wrote looks nothing like that. She was also trying to pick my pocket at church. Luckily for me she’s not that good at it. Had a delightful dinner of hamburger BBQ at my parents house before coming home for my Christmas tradition. I watch the MST3K version of Santa Claus Conquers the Martians and as I have done a few times before I bought Spring House’s the Martians Kidnap Santa Eggnog Stout. I’m not a fan of eggnog but the name sure goes with the movie so I can stomach it for a night.

Heard some of the steamwhistle concert but I was sleepy and didn’t make to Silent Night. The cats had awoken me at 6 AM so I was dragging by then.
