This is my home park. I grew up a long flyball away from the park. If the Revolution would have been around when I was in high school or college I would have probably gone to just about every game I could. My parents can hear the cannon when it goes off and it does not bother the cats anymore when it does.
How did I get there?
For me, a few blocks north on Queen Street. Parking is $3 but since my parents live in the neighborhood I can park for free. I have never paid a cent to park at a Revs game.
Ticket prices
$8 for a lawn seat, $11 for a regular seat. Also a $1 AAA discount. I am a season ticket holder and I know a parking attendant who gives out free tickets.
Finding my seat and amenities
It’s easy for me to find my seat but the sections are marked a bit weird. Check the labels on the sides of the seat to make sure your in the right section. They have the usual stable of stadium fare as well as some other local restaurants that sell their wares.
In game experience
They have the usual stable of in-game entertainment. There has been a bit of a revolving door of in-game hosts, some better than others.
Getting out
Easy, I can be back home before most people are in their cars.
Wrap
This is my home ballpark. I would have preferred to have an affiliated team but then this is better than nothing. They have won the league championship three times so it’s not really a bad product on the field. There are usually a few ex-major leaguers on the team and the entire team signs autographs every Sunday. I buy a pennant at the start of the season and just update it throughout the year. It’s usually full by the end.
