When you go to games to get bobbleheads and hear what people are talking about there are two stadiums that seem to always come up, here and Durham. This is the closest entrant in the Southern League to me just outside of Knoxville and I visited here in 2017.
The stadium is located east of Knoxville just off of I-40. There is a large parking lot, it costs $5 to park. You don’t really have any other options though.
Not bad, got in for $14 and sat behind the visitor’s dugout. Certainly cheaper than seeing a game at Wrigley.
Easy to find my seat. There was a wide variety of food here. I had already eaten as I got out of Knoxville at about 4 and had time to kill. There are several fast food restaurants across the interstate from the park.
There were some different things here. I read somewhere that the owners go visit other parks a lot and use a lot of the ideas they see elsewhere here. I can’t really remember any other than one did make me chuckle.
Easy to get out but I didn’t stay for the fireworks. I can imagine it can take a bit to empty the lot after a well-attended game. This was Memorial Day weekend so the game was very well attended.
This is a nice park but I liked Regions Field better, not that it matters.
